one day fantasy and reality combined to create the magical world known as “the ether” — a portal where potential is limitless, and rules are meant to be broken.

Sil-A 실라 (vocalist, songwriter, on Planet Earth) and Ethercilla (producer, director, residing in The Ether) combined into a singular creative force.

Born in the USA to immigrant parents, Ethercilla (Sil-A 실라) began songwriting at age 9 to survive their challenging upbringing. 

They grew up listening to punk pop in secret, filling notebooks with song lyrics with no training or equipment.

Upon relocating to Seoul, South Korea, they began experimenting with hip-hop and synth, blending genres to create a unique musical staple. 

Mixing rhyme with electronic beats, they craft a cross-cultural experience that intertwines Asian, Caribbean, and Western influences.

the artist’s diverse cultural background is reflected in their artistry—a determination to defy labels and an aspiration to challenge society’s perceptions of “beauty,” “music,” and “art.”
